Forsports Foundation is guided by a structured governance and leadership framework that supports transparency, accountability, and long-term community impact. Strategic oversight is led by the Executive Council, supported by programme staff, advisors, and community stakeholders working together to strengthen youth empowerment, safe spaces, gender equality, and sustainable community development across Ghana.

Christopher Forsythe is a social impact entrepreneur and community development leader based in Ghana. He is the Founder and CEO of Forsports Foundation, working across youth empowerment, sport for development, and community-driven social impact initiatives.

Forson Osei-Bonsu

Forson Osei-Bonsu

Chairman

Mr. Osei-Bonsu holds a B.Com (Hons), Dip. Ed, and an MBA in Financial Management. He has extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making. He has held key roles at MASLOC, Nsoatreman Rural Bank, the National Catholic Secretariat, and currently lectures at Sunyani Technical University.

Nasara Abdul-Karim

Member

Ayisha Nasara Abdul-Karim is a banker with expertise in finance and banking. She holds a BSc in Finance from Catholic University College and an MSc in Banking and Finance from UPSA. Currently with Fidelity Bank, she brings strong financial acumen and industry experience.

Charles Strikland

Charles Strikland

Member

Charles Strickland, from Lunenburg, Canada, is a leader in international development, sustainability, and philanthropy. With 20+ years in the Middle East, he has worked with UNICEF and Emirates Airline on global initiatives. He specialises in sustainable change across the GCC, South Asia, and Canada. A strong advocate for using football for social good, he supports community empowerment.

Alice Gyasi Mensah

Member

Alice holds PhD in Migration Studies from the University of Ghana, with expertise in multicultural projects, finance, and government relations. She excels in strategic planning, leadership, and cross-cultural collaboration. She is currently a Lecturer at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

John Harrison

John Harrison

Member

Mr. Harrison has 20+ years of experience in construction, sports, and entertainment, specialising in project management and global collaborations. He has worked with elite soccer clubs, including Inter Milan, Chelsea, and Argentina, and served as Team Liaison for the Greek National Team.

Our Core Team is made up of dedicated staff, programme coordinators, coaches, mentors, and community facilitators working directly with children and young people across Ghana. They lead the day-to-day delivery of Forsports Foundation programmes, supporting safe spaces, youth empowerment, education, wellbeing, gender equality, and community engagement through inclusive and community-driven approaches.

Head Coach

As Head Coach, he uses football as a tool for development, fostering teamwork, discipline, and life skills while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Secretary

Serving as Secretary, she manages documentation, communications, and coordination, playing a vital role in ensuring the foundation’s activities are well-organised and effectively executed.

Safeguarding Officer

As Safeguarding Officer, he ensures the safety and well-being of all participants by implementing health and safety protocols, child protection policies, and safeguarding measures

KINGSLEY APPIAH

Liaison Officer

As Liaison Officer, he facilitates partnerships and stakeholder engagement, ensuring strong collaboration between Forsports Foundation and its key supporters to drive impactful initiatives.

KWAME ANIN FRIMPONG

Programme Manager

As Programme Manager, he leads the planning, execution, and evaluation of sports and community programmes, ensuring they align with the foundation’s mission to empower youth through sports.

Finance and Admin Manager

As Finance and Admin Manager, he oversees financial planning, budgeting, and administrative operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running of Forsports Foundation’s programmes.

SAMUEL BOAMAH

Health Coordinator

As Health Coordinator, he ensures the effective implementation of Forsports Foundation’s health initiatives, promoting well-being and positive community impact.

YEBOAH AKUA ALBERTA

Life Skills Coordinator

In her role as Life Skills Coordinator, she designs and implements programmes that equip young people with essential life skills, fostering personal growth and development through sports.
