Sunyani Integrated Community Sports and Youth Empowerment Centre
A shovel-ready community development project designed to create long-term opportunities for young people across the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Regions of Ghana.

Designed as a home for sport, learning, mentorship, and community life.
The next chapter of our work in Sunyani
For more than a decade, Forsports Foundation has delivered structured youth and community development programmes across the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Regions of Ghana. As demand for safe and inclusive youth spaces continues to grow, programme delivery has increasingly been limited by the lack of accessible community facilities, restricted access to parks and playing spaces, and the broader challenges affecting structured extracurricular engagement within schools and communities.
The Sunyani Integrated Community Sports and Youth Empowerment Centre represents a long-term response to these challenges: a permanent, purpose-built hub designed to strengthen access to sport, mentorship, education support, health and wellbeing activities, life skills development, and safe community engagement for young people.
More than a sports facility, the Centre is envisioned as an integrated community space where young people can grow, learn, build confidence, and access practical development.
Secured land
An MOU has been signed with the Sunyani Municipal Assembly supporting land allocation for the proposed facility development.
Strategic partnerships
Partnership engagement has included collaboration with the Johan Cruyff Foundation towards the proposed development of a Cruyff Court within the Centre.
Project readiness
Architectural drawings, 3D renderings, technical planning documents, and a comprehensive project concept package have been completed, positioning the project for implementation and partnership support.
