Forsports Foundation Donates Sports Equipment to UENR with Support from Global Partners

Forsports Foundation, a Sunyani-based NGO committed to using sports for social development and youth empowerment, has donated assorted sports equipment to the Sports Department of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).

The donation, made possible through the generous support of Macron S.p.A (Italy), Umbro (UK), and Shoes4Life (Czech Republic), included sets of jerseys, footballs, shin guards, tracksuit tops, and goalkeeper gloves. This initiative aligns with Forsports Foundation’s mission to promote sports development, foster community engagement, and empower young athletes.

Speaking at the presentation, Christopher Forsythe, Founder of Forsports Foundation, expressed gratitude to the foundation’s international partners for their unwavering support. He emphasized that sports have the power to transform lives, and through such collaborations, the foundation can continue providing opportunities for young talents to thrive.

Receiving the items on behalf of UENR, senior officials from the Sports Directorate, including Ebenezer K. Armoh, Kate Afram, and Simon Bosomtwe, commended Forsports Foundation and its partners for their impactful contribution. They highlighted the importance of these resources in enhancing student participation and performance in sports.

Also present at the event was Alfred Tuah-Yeboah Esq, a Trustee of Forsports Foundation, alongside other key representatives. This donation marks another step in Forsports Foundation’s commitment to strengthening sports infrastructure and creating lasting social change through athletics.
